Dr. Tarun Shah, a board-certified allergist and immunologist, has spent years caring for patients whose skin was affected by allergies, sensitivities, and chronic dryness. Whether it was dryness from frequent hand washing, harsh environmental exposures, or everyday skincare habits, he saw how much these experiences could affect people’s daily comfort.
One thing became clear: many people were still looking for a moisturizer that suited their everyday needs. Seeing that gap firsthand, Dr. Shah set out to develop a line of moisturizers that brings together medical insight and everyday practicality.
His clinical experience and personal experience with skincare within his own family helped shape the project. The ambition is a collection that is thoughtful in its formulation, simple to understand, and practical to use.

At Avilux, we believe healthy skin starts with trust—trust in your product and the science behind it. Our founder’s work brought him into contact with people facing dryness and skin discomfort, sometimes made more challenging by environmental conditions, limited resources, and other circumstances.
That perspective informs our development priorities: carefully considered ingredients, straightforward formulations, fragrance and fragrance-free options, and attention to preservation, safety, and stability.
Our focus is cosmetic moisturizing care: helping skin feel softer, smoother, and more comfortable in an everyday routine. The collection is still in development, and final formulas and product details will be shared when they are ready.
