What goes into the emulsion.
The label lists a blend of water, conditioning ingredients, mineral and plant oils, and components that help give an emulsion its consistency. Here’s how those ingredient groups are commonly used in cosmetics.
Water, aloe leaf juice & propylene glycol
Water forms the aqueous base. Aloe leaf juice is used as a conditioning ingredient; propylene glycol is commonly used in moisturizing formulas as a humectant and solvent.
Mineral, olive & sunflower oils
Paraffinum Liquidum (mineral oil), olive fruit oil, sunflower seed oil, and vegetable oil contribute to an emollient formulation and a soft skin feel.
Cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate & more
Cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol used for texture and emollience. Glyceryl stearate, Ceteareth-20, and stearic acid help shape and stabilize the oil-and-water emulsion.
Preservation, consistency & scent
Phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin are commonly used in preservation systems. Disodium EDTA is a chelating ingredient; sodium hydroxide helps adjust pH. Tocopherol and fragrance are also listed.
Ingredient roles describe common cosmetic uses, not measured results for this finished product. The proof does not state concentrations or final-product testing results.
